The first “International Food and Agricultural Business Forum-Exhibition,” organized by the “Business Center Club,” was held in Baku.
The event, attended by over 500 participants, included representatives from local companies as well as delegates from companies from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Israel, and other countries. At the ceremony, Rufat Nadirli, Chairman of the “Business Center Club,” spoke about the importance of the forum-exhibition, emphasizing the project’s sustainability and plans for its continuation in the coming years. Anar Jafarov, Director of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, discussed the state’s attention and care for the agricultural sector and the opportunities created for entrepreneurs operating in this field.
Members of Parliament Jeyhun Mammadov, Vugar Iskandarov, Mushfig Jafarov, Head of the Advertising Department of Khazar Media Center Gokhan Ozkundakci, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “Destec Group” Sakit Samadov, President of the Turkic World Agriculture Union Doğan Başaran, and High Advisory Board Member of “TABA AmCham” Beşir Kamal Ustaoğlu positively assessed the creation of such a project in the food and agricultural sector, noting that it would create opportunities for further deepening cooperation between local and foreign companies.
During the event, stands were reviewed, and B2B meetings for cooperation between companies were held. The forum then continued with panel discussions. The panels covered topics such as “Development Stages in Agriculture and Food Sectors, Innovative Technological Solutions and Food Security,” and “Production, PR and Marketing, Import-Export Opportunities and Experience Exchange in the Agricultural and Food Sectors.” It should be noted that “Ert Agro,” “Nafta Sanatoriya,” “Absheron Logistics Center,” “OBA” Market Chain, “Onur Plast,” “Mamajan,” “Hazel,” “Eco Az Energy,” “Qanun Accounting Services,” “Logix,” Crea Time,” “Foto Carpet,” and others participated as sponsors.
