Over 55,000 students to take exams on Sunday

The State Examination Center will hold a graduation exam for the general (9-year) secondary education level on April 26.

This information was provided by the SEC.

It was stated that the exam will be held in Sabunchu (Part II), Nizami, Khazar (Part II), and Nasimi districts of Baku city, Sumgayit (Part II), Absheron (Part II), Nakhchivan, Goygol, Goranboy, Naftalan, Gadabay, Tovuz, Qakh, Balakan, Zagatala, Lerik, Jalilabad (Part II), Masally (Part II), Barda, Tartar, Goychay, Saatli, Salyan, Kurdamir, Ismayilli, Sabirabad (Part II), Khachmaz (Part II), Quba (Part II), Aghdara (Talish, Goyarkh, Hasanriz, Shikharx, Suqovushan village secondary schools), Lachin (City School No. 2, Zabukh, Sus village secondary schools), in special schools in Baku city (boarding schools, schools located in correctional facilities), as well as for graduates of general education institutions where instruction is conducted in Georgian, for the general (9-year) secondary education level.

The exam starts at 11:00 AM.

The admission regime ends 15 minutes before the start of the exam – at 10:45 AM. Participants arriving after this time will not be admitted to the exam building.

To ensure smooth entry of participants into the exam building, different arrival times have been set for the building, and these times are indicated on the participant's admission ticket. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive at the exam building at the time specified on the admission ticket.

It is forbidden to bring or use mobile phones, smartwatches and other communication devices, calculators and other electronic devices, notes, dictionaries, tables, bags, information booklets, external storage devices, and other auxiliary tools into the exam building or hall.

Students must bring the following documents to the exam:

- Admission ticket;

- Original identity document:

a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must bring their identity card;

b) Foreigners and stateless persons must bring their permits issued by the State Migration Service, while foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must bring their refugee certificates;

- Participants whose identity card does not contain a photograph must also bring a certificate issued by the educational institution with an attached photograph (a 3x4 cm photograph of the participant is affixed to the certificate and confirmed with a seal).

Students whose identity document does not contain a photograph can download the certificate, which must be issued by the educational institution for the graduation exam, from the SEC website.

Students participating in the exam can print their “Admission Ticket” from the SEC website via the internet starting from April 1.

A total of 240 exam buildings and 4171 exam halls have been allocated in the cities and districts where the exams will be held. For the management of the exams, 926 exam supervisors and general supervisors, 5197 invigilators, 731 admission regime employees (security), and 240 building representatives have been assigned.

The participation of 55,282 students is expected in the exam.

79 students with limited health capabilities (visually impaired, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, and others) will also participate in the exam. Special halls have been allocated in the exam buildings for them to take the exam comfortably, and individual supervisors have been assigned to individuals with visual impairment determined due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions. Conditions have also been created for students with mobility impairments to enter and move within the building and hall. Additionally, special training has been conducted with the invigilators assigned to participants with limited health capabilities.
