The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the "Rules for Maintaining, Using, and Protecting the State Register of Legal Entities," approved by the decree dated April 13, 2005.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decree in this regard.
According to the decree, from now on, the state register will include information on each beneficial owner of an entity, including their surname, name, patronymic, date of birth, citizenship, place of residence, and whether the beneficial owner is a politically exposed person, their close relative, or a close associate for the purposes of the Law "On Combating the Legalization of Property Obtained Through Criminal Means and the Financing of Terrorism."
