Minister of Science and Education Emin Əmrullayev signed an order to regulate the activities of educational institutions operating in Baku during the Thirteenth session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to the order, some changes will be made to the organization of the teaching and educational process in educational institutions operating in Baku (excluding preschool and boarding-type general education institutions) between May 17-22, when WUF13 will be held.
Thus, a holiday will be set for pre-school preparatory groups and primary classes of general education institutions from May 18 to 22 (instead of May 1-5).
Furthermore, in general education institutions operating in other districts of Baku, with the exception of Pirallahı, Qaradağ, Suraxanı, Sabunçu, and Nizami districts, classes for grades V-XI will be held remotely from May 18 to 22.
At the same time, the order states that teaching in vocational, secondary specialized, and higher education institutions located in Baku will also be organized remotely from May 18 to 22.
