Windy and rainy weather conditions continue in Azerbaijan, with snow falling in mountainous and foothill regions, and precipitation being intense in some areas.

The editorial office reports that this was noted in the information from the National Hydrometeorology Service as of January 14, 10:00 AM.

The height of the fallen snow is 30 cm in Alibay (Zaqatala), 29 cm in Shahbuz, 23 cm in Saribash (Qakh), 20 cm in Quba, 15 cm in Shaki, 13 cm in Kalbajar, 10 cm in Lachin, Khinalig, Qubadli, and Qusar, 9 cm in Khaltan and Shahdag, 8 cm in Altıagac and Gedabey, 6 cm in Zaqatala, 5 cm in Shusha, 4 cm in Khankendi, Gobustan, and Dashkasan, 3 cm in Shamakhi and Sadarak, 2 cm in Ismayilli and Sharur, and 1 cm in Balakan and Khodjali.

A westerly wind is blowing in several areas. The maximum wind speed is intensifying up to 28 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 26 m/s in Mingachevir, 24 m/s in Neftchala, 20 m/s in Ganja and Tartar, 18 m/s in Aghstafa and Shamkir, 16 m/s in Barda, and 15 m/s in Yevlakh.

Fog is observed in Quba, Qusar, Shaki, Qakh, Goygol, Khaltan, Goychay, and Lerik, with visibility limited to 500 meters.

The minimum air temperature was recorded as 4 degrees Celsius in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, up to 3 degrees Celsius in Aran regions, 7 degrees Celsius in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and up to 10 degrees Celsius frost in mountainous regions.
