Video footage of a group of individuals attempting to march with USSR flags to promote communist ideology has been circulated on social networks.
The editorial office, citing APA, reports that as a result of measures taken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (DİN), the organizers Abdulla Ibrahimli, Ibrahim Asadli, and other individuals who participated in the march were identified, detained, and a criminal case was initiated against them.
Preliminary investigation determined that these individuals operated as a group, renting an office and holding periodic meetings with the support and funding provided by another state.
During searches of the offices and residences belonging to the mentioned individuals, numerous materials promoting communist ideology, flags, copies of books advocating radicalism, CD-discs, and other electronic devices were discovered and seized.
Investigative measures are ongoing.
