A robbery crime was recorded in Sabail district. A group of individuals threatened 2 guests at one of the public catering facilities located in the capital with a sharp-piercing tool and seized 800 manats from them.
As a result of measures taken by employees of the 9th Police Department of Sabail DPD, 37-year-old Emil Hasanov and 35-year-old Shahriyar Mammadov, who were suspected of committing the robbery and had been previously convicted multiple times, were detained. Investigations revealed that a dispute between them over paying the bill later resulted in the seizure of funds through open robbery.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the robbery article of the Criminal Code, and by court decision, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest has been chosen for the detainees.
