The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has created two more pick-up/drop-off points in Baku to ensure that passengers of private cars can comfortably be picked up and dropped off in bus lanes.
The editorial office reports this, citing AYNA.
According to the information, the next such locations have been established at the intersection of Jafar Jabbarli and Basti Bagirova streets (in front of “Caspian Plaza”), as well as at the intersection of 8 November Avenue and Khagani Rustamov Street (near “ASAN Xidmət” Center No. 2). Relevant signs have been placed at both locations.
The purpose is to enable passengers to be picked up and dropped off in bus lanes without obstructing the movement of public transport. When using the pick-up/drop-off points, conditions must be created for the movement of public transport, pick-ups and drop-offs must be carried out in the shortest possible time, and safety and maneuvering rules must be observed.
