The activities of a number of state institutions are being improved.
The editorial office reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, the following budgetary organizations have been established:
- "State Agency for the Use of Mineral Raw Material Reserves" under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, based on the public legal entities "State Agency for the Use of Mineral Raw Material Reserves" and "Geological Exploration Agency", as well as the State Geological Information Fund;
- "Geodesy and Cartography Agency" under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, based on the public legal entity "Geodesy and Cartography Agency" under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources;
- "Agrarian Research and Development Center" under the Ministry of Agriculture, based on the Agrarian Innovation Center and the public legal entity "Agrarian Research Center" under the Ministry of Agriculture;
- "Institute for Design and Scientific Research on Water and Melioration" under the Azerbaijan State Agency of Water Resources, based on the public legal entities "Institute for the Design of Water and Melioration Complexes" and "Scientific Research Institute of Water and Melioration" under the Azerbaijan State Agency of Water Resources.
