Traditionally, demand for air travel on the Baku–Nakhchivan–Baku route increases during the Novruz and Ramadan holidays, especially on the holiday days themselves.
The editorial office reports that for this reason, AZAL, the national air carrier of Azerbaijan, recommends that passengers planning to travel in this direction during the specified period purchase their tickets in advance.
According to the currently valid flight schedule, 8–10 regular flights per day (16–20 flights round trip) are planned to be operated on the Baku–Nakhchivan–Baku route in the period leading up to and during the holidays. If necessary, the number of flights is expected to be further increased in accordance with demand. Thus, the regularity and continuity of air transport connection to Nakhchivan are taken as a priority during planning.
It should be noted that civil aviation activities are carried out within the framework of an approved flight operations plan. This plan covers the formation of the flight schedule, preparation of aircraft for flights, mandatory technical and operational inspections, as well as other measures aimed at safety and service quality. In this regard, passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance to ensure the efficient organization of air transport.
Air tickets can be purchased from the airline's official website azal.az, its mobile application, or at AZAL's ticket offices.
