The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated June 3, 2019, "On the Creation of the "Government Cloud" (G-cloud) and the Provision of "Cloud" Services" continues.

As part of the decree's execution, the Azerbaijan Surface Transport Agency (AYNA) became the next state institution to migrate its information systems and resources to the "Government Cloud".

The Agency has fully deployed its information systems and resources to the Baku Data Center owned by "AzInTelecom" MMC, a company within AZCON Holding. This migration has enabled AYNA to ensure high availability for its critical systems.

"AzInTelecom" MMC has commenced providing AYNA with "cloud" services, including Virtual Server - IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and Backup - BaaS (Backup-as-a-Service). Additionally, the Agency has been equipped with SPLA-licensed "Microsoft" products and SIP telephony service.

Within the framework of the "Government Cloud" project, state institutions' IT systems are being fully or partially migrated to the Baku and Yevlax Data Centers owned by "AzInTelecom" MMC. As a result of this migration, institutions' current IT expenses are reduced, and the productivity of their information systems increases. Improved information security, a stable IT infrastructure, quality service provision, and 24/7 monitoring services are achieved.

It should be noted that "AzInTelecom" MMC is the first institution in the South Caucasus region to obtain the "TIER III" certificate, which defines international standards for "cloud" services.
