Demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine have been held in several European cities. In Rome and Barcelona, tens of thousands of people protested Israel's military operations in Gaza and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people.

The editorial office reports that at least 200,000 people are estimated to have participated in the demonstration in Rome. In Barcelona, one of the largest demonstrations in the city's history took place — more than 300,000 people took to the streets, marching with demands for freedom for Palestine.

Organizers stated that the goal was to convey to the international community an urgent call for a ceasefire to protect civilians and to express support for the resumption of humanitarian aid in Gaza.
