ASELSAN's indigenously produced SEDA 100 Acoustic Gunfire Location Detection System is a clear example of advanced technologies applied on modern battlefields. This system is designed to detect high-velocity projectiles and determine the precise coordinates of the shooter. The system has proven itself in both domestic and international markets.
Redaksiya reports that SEDA 100 is designed to detect supersonic projectiles using acoustic technology and accurately determine the shooter's location. The system operates effectively in all environmental conditions, provides Geographic Information System (GIS)-based alerts, and is easily integrated without the need for calibration.
Last year, ASELSAN and Hanwha companies demonstrated their intention for joint cooperation in both domestic and international markets by signing a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the integration of the SEDA system into Hanwha vehicles. This step also represents a strategic turning point in ASELSAN's long-term commitment to defense cooperation with the Republic of Korea. SEDA 100 is designed to operate effectively in various combat conditions, including urban and open areas. By accurately determining the location of gunfire, the system enables security forces and military units to respond operationally.
