From December 4-5, 2025, a delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is on a visit to Phnom Penh, the Kingdom of Cambodia. The visit was realized upon the joint invitation of the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The delegation participated in a meeting of the Committee of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific operating in the relevant field and was elected to lead the Commission's working group titled “Advanced Technologies and Smart Public Services” for the years 2025-2028.
In the opening session, the Chairman of the State Agency provided information about the "ASAN xidmət" experience. He spoke about the successful cooperation between the State Agency and the UN and its various divisions. It was brought to the attention of the event participants that the "ASAN xidmət" experience is currently being exported to more than 30 countries.
Leaders and representatives from institutions operating in the relevant field from the USA, Kazakhstan, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, the Kyrgyz Republic, and other countries participated in the event.
The delegation's visit to Cambodia is ongoing.
