"ASAN xidmət" Presented as a Model on the Global Stage

Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech at a panel session titled “Overcoming Bureaucratic Obstacles, Achieving Real Results – The Path to Zero Bureaucracy” within the framework of the World Governments Summit. He noted that public service reforms in our country are built upon the “ASAN xidmət” model, established in 2012 on the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan. This model serves to reduce bureaucracy, ensure transparency, and guarantee citizen satisfaction. It was also brought to the attention of the audience that “ASAN xidmət” is recognized as a reliable and applicable model both at the local and international levels, delivering effective results with high citizen satisfaction today.

On the second day of the Summit, the Chairman of the State Agency also spoke at a roundtable discussion titled “Shaping the Future of Human Resources in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” It was emphasized that artificial intelligence should be used as a strategic tool to increase the efficiency of public servants, strengthen decision-making processes, and improve service quality. High-level officials from more than 15 countries spoke at the roundtable.

During the World Governments Summit, a meeting was held with the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations. The meeting was held to discuss the implementation of the Contribution Agreement signed between the State Agency and the United Nations in 2024 and the activities planned within this framework. In this context, the UN official expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the State Agency and specifically highlighted the exemplary activity of “ASAN xidmət” in the field of providing public services.

The delegation of the State Agency also participated in the “New Silk Road” Forum, where the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, delivered a speech, within the framework of the Summit.
