On December 2, 2025, the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev, met with a delegation led by Angela Lin, Regional Vice President for the Middle East and Central Asia at Huawei, Steve Nouri, CEO and Co-founder of GenAI Works, and Khaleddin Rzayev, Co-Director of the Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovation and Lecturer in Finance at the University of Edinburgh.
The guests visited the country to attend the presentation ceremony of the ASAN Artificial Intelligence platform (ASAN AI Hub), created on the initiative of the State Agency.
They were informed about the "ASAN Service" centers established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the innovative solutions applied in public services, and it was noted that Azerbaijan's intellectual brand is currently exported to more than 30 countries.
The guests stated that the "ASAN Service" model's operation left a strong impression on them. During the meeting, discussions were held with the relevant parties regarding cooperation directions between the State Agency.
At the same time, they were acquainted with the activities of the "ASAN Service" center, the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile ASAN Service, and the "ABAD" public legal entity.
