The Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AFSI) is launching the "One Health" mentorship program.

The aim of this program is to prepare students in line with the "One Health" approach, fostering them as professional specialists who think strategically and respond to modern challenges.

Participants selected for the mentorship program will have the opportunity for direct communication with AFSI's leadership and the country's leading experts. Within the 12-week development program, participants will receive recommendations on management, scientific approaches, and global challenges.

The initiative aims to develop the knowledge and skills of students studying in the fields of food safety, plant and animal health, as well as public health, thereby forming highly qualified human capital that can play a leading role in these areas in the future.

During the program, mentorship meetings, development and practical application of technical knowledge, as well as thematic masterclasses and sessions will be organized according to the participants' specialization, needs, and motivation.

The application, evaluation, and selection process will be conducted based on transparent and objective criteria. Candidates will be selected considering principles of suitability, motivation, and competitiveness.

Detailed information about the "One Health" mentorship program can be found on AFSI's official website (https://afsi.gov.az/az/mentorship).
Applications for the program will be announced in the coming days.
