The German government has issued an urgent call for its citizens in Iran to leave the country. This information was published on the social media account of the German Embassy in Tehran.
The Redaksiya reports that in a statement titled "Call for German citizens in Iran to urgently leave the country," it was stated that tensions continue in Iran and the region. The statement noted that the possibility of a further deterioration of the security situation and military clashes cannot be ruled out.
For this reason, the necessity of reiterating the call for German citizens to leave Iran has been emphasized. Taking into account that in case of increased tensions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Embassy in Tehran "will be able to offer almost no support" regarding departure from the country, German citizens have been asked to leave the country using the available opportunities.
