US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave a harsh recommendation to representatives of European Union countries during his appearance on Fox Business.
The editorial office reports that Bessent told his European counterparts that the time had come to “either agree or remain silent.” In his opinion, if European countries want to act as a “united front,” they must make a real contribution to resolving the conflict.
The Secretary added that Donald Trump is ready to continue negotiations, and the Russia-US summit to be held in Alaska will be a precursor to a second round of talks.
