As a result of the new peace agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia with US mediation, a direct border line has formed between the US and Iran. The agreement includes the creation of a strategic transit corridor called “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP).
The editorial office reports that this corridor passes through Armenia's Syunik region, providing access to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from an area close to Iran's northern border. Nakhchivan, in turn, borders Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, and Iran.
Experts believe that the TRIPP project could lead to the expansion of trade routes in the South Caucasus, the strengthening of regional cooperation, and the emergence of a new balance in geopolitical relations.
