An event was held in connection with the ninth anniversary of the establishment of "ABAD" public legal entity, which operates under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the event, Ülvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, congratulated the employees of the institution on this occasion and wished them success in their future endeavors.
Rufat Elchiyev, Director of the "ABAD" public legal entity, delivered a report on the institution's nine years of activity. He stated that "ABAD"'s activities expanded further last year, presentations were held in the liberated territories, honey products collected from these regions were branded and put on sale, and products were exported to the US market. Online sales were activated on the "Wolt Market" platform, and "ABAD" products were also presented at five new sales points. Additionally, various new product assortments were produced and launched to the market.
Starting its activities as a pilot project with 7 families in Masally, "ABAD" has provided services to support 677 families in developing their personal businesses over its 9 years of operation. Of these entrepreneurs, 508 are talented artisans who revive and preserve our decorative and applied folk art. 144 "ABAD" members produce high-quality and natural food products. Additionally, 25 entrepreneurs are successfully developing their businesses in various fields.
Within the framework of the event, employees who distinguished themselves in their service activities were awarded certificates of appreciation.
The "ABAD" public legal entity was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated September 23, 2016, and over the past nine years, it has carried out significant work in the direction of developing family-based micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurship, increasing employment, and supporting entrepreneurial activities in the regions.
