A fire incident occurred today around 17:10 on the territory of Penitentiary No. 6 of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
The press services of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Emergency Situations released a joint statement regarding this.
It was reported that forces from the State Fire Protection and Special Risky Rescue Services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished in a short period:
“No one was injured as a result of the incident.
An investigation is underway regarding the fact.
The Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice is taking necessary steps to strengthen security measures and fully ensure the safety of convicts and personnel.”
